OUR WORK
Dollarbird Studios is home to husband-and-wife team, Grant and Alice Carruthers.
Grant leads the recording studio as an experienced producer/engineer and multi-instrumentalist. After studying his bachelor’s degree at Queensland Conservatorium, Grant toured the world as a full-time musician and has worked in studios from Sydney to London.
Alice is our resident coffee- and film-maker. She got a taste for being behind the camera while shooting videos for Grant’s original music projects, and has been there ever since. Alice now provides an excellent eye for setting up the shot, steady hands behind the camera and an uncompromising attention to detail in the editing suite.
